This is a trail that starts from the village of Steni, climbs Mount Dirfis through the forest, then passes next to the Mountain Shelter and continues till the point where the hike trail for Dirfis’ top begins. Note that there are two ways to return to a tarmac road from there. The first, which is shorter and easiest, is described as alternative 1, the second that goes near Agia Eirini village is described as alternative 2.
